By accessing or using Resonate AI ("the Service"), operated by Rowton Development ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Resonate AI provides an AI-powered Bible study and devotional platform, including personalized studies, scripture analysis, prayer tools, community features, Bible reading tracking, and related content. The Service is offered in part for free and in part through optional paid subscriptions (Premium). We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

3. Account and Registration

You may create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as needed. You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the Service. You may not:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

6. Premium and Payments

Premium features may require payment. Fees, billing cycles, and refunds are as stated at the time of purchase and in any separate payment terms. We use third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe); your payment data is subject to their policies. We may change pricing with notice where required by law.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. AI-generated content (e.g., studies, devotionals) is for spiritual encouragement and study aid only and should not replace pastoral care, professional advice, or your own study of Scripture. We are not liable for decisions you make based on the Service or its content.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rowton Development and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claims arising from these terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100), whichever is greater.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rowton Development and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes may be communicated via the Service or email where appropriate.

11. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.
